Eating together is important. When Jesus ministered to people, he ate with people. He ate with his friends, his enemies, and was even questioned about why he was eating with certain people. In our continued conversations about Life Together, Roy Rhodes, Lead Pastor of Impact Temple Church preaches about ‘Breaking Bread.’ He uses the writings of Paul in 1 Corinthians 11:17-22 and 27-29 urging us to eat together as a community, which we do every week, but also look for ways to serve each other. He encourages us to practice starting conversations, reaching out, listening and encouraging one another right here because out there is where these things are needed so much.
Following the sermon, watch the communion given this week by Krista Mainard. Feel free to participate in the communion along with the video and with us, just as you are and where ever you are. You are invited to email Connections Pastor Sejana at sejana@impacttemple.com so that we may know you are participating with us so that we can try to reach out to you soon.
